Firefox tip: scale the default font size for all pages

When all web pages in Firefox look too large or small it might help to change the default font scaling. Open about:config and search for setting layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. The default is -1, which means no scaling. Use 1.0 for the default size. Adjust in small changes like 0.1. For me 0.9 works. Found here.
