1. Why explain programming questions on YouTube?

    People are using YouTube to answers programming questions. Here's an example:

    Google includes these videos in the normal web results, but I never view them because they are very unfriendly to use.

    First, it takes a lot more time to find out if my question is answered. I have to watch a video without clear indication where the answer is presented. In a text page I can scan the text, search and copy example code. In a video this doesn't work. So why are people doing this?

    Let's hope it is not a trend.
